The Armed Forces Language Institute (MODLI) is a well-established educational institution affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Defense. Founded in 1981, the Institute has since become a leading center for language education and the provision of specialized linguistic services.

In alignment with the belief of the Armed Forces that education is one of the most crucial pillars of a nation's progress, a primary indicator of its strength, and a strategic goal of the Arab Republic of Egypt as well as a cornerstone of its national security, the Armed Forces diligently strive to expand education in both quality and quantity. Building on this belief, the Armed Forces shoulder the responsibility of serving the civil community to achieve sustainable human development within the Egyptian society. They offer numerous educational facilities across various disciplines to citizens who wish to study at these institutions. MODLI is one of these prestigious educational pillars, having been established over four decades ago. Since its inception, the Institute has opened its doors to anyone wishing to study different languages. It also provides numerous services within the framework of the Armed Forces' program to prepare and qualify Armed Forces Officers for scholarships and missions abroad and meet the needs of both local and global labor markets.
